So I was bored …

Saturday, April 22nd, 2006

… at about 3am in the morning.  This is bad because:

a) It occurs on a regular basis
b) It makes me choose between looking for something entertaining on the internet, or sleeping

If I DO end up finding something - that appears to guarantee that I’m up until 5am.  As you can appreciate, this makes waking up the next (same) morning rather difficult.  Not to mention birdsong and sunlight outside my window ¬_¬  And let’s not mention the wailing cats… Grrr.  There’s a lot to be said for total soundproofing - or indeed, sleeping earlier.

I just remembered that my sister is running the London Marathon tomorrow (sunday 23rd April).  I think they finish around Buckingham Palace somewhere right?  Wow.  All 26.5 miles of the course in god-knows-however-many-hours :p  Very impressive, so I should do my part and go and clap at the finish line.  Let’s see if I can wake up in time :p

Where was I?  Oh yes.  So, errr, in any case, in addition to finding ways of combating boredom (a worthy task if I’ve ever heard of one) I’ve been distracting myself with a number of site builds.

One of which is called CoolFunnyCandy.com

You submit stuff, people vote on it.  If there are enough votes, the thing hits the front page, and then the madness starts :p

If you like it, bookmark it, or tell your friends.  Or both… everyone needs a healthy dose of amusement at work…

Cool. Funny. (eye)Candy.  Zander gets bragging rights for Candy when it becomes popular =)
… wonder where I can spam it…

Hahahahahahahahaahha!

Yes!!!!!!!!!!! After weeks of futile searching … who would’ve thought that the wind, rain and general overcast weather today would be cast away in one single, joyful (and triumphant) moment?

Feast your eyes upon the Coco Pops Straws!!!!!  HAhahahahahahaha!  Wicked!
I’m going to be very sick, very soon… I have no normal milk in the flat, so I’m going to gorge myself on uber chocolatey breakfast confectionery at least 12 hours before most normal people would.

For your delectation, voila le front:

Errr, this is common.  Monitors often malfunction in this very common manner.  The obvious solution is to tilt it at an angle of no more, or less than 90 degrees in a clockwise direction.
If this fails to work, then there’s something wrong with your monitor and you need to purchase a new one to view this image in all its glory.
